How To Buy Points

With point spreads and totals betting you are allowed to "buy points" on your wagers.

Buying points allows you to move the line up to 2 points. The way the concept of buying points works is for every ½ point you want to move the line, you must risk an additional 10% juice (except when buying on/off of a 3 for NFL).

For example, you wish to wager Dolphins -7 over the Colts - however, you think they will win by a touchdown. So instead of risking $110 to win $100 at -7, you can risk $120 to win $100 at -6 ½.

Here is a summary of the rules for buying points:

1/2 point - you wager 120/100
1 point - you wager 130/100
1 1/2 points - you wager 140/100
2 points - you wager 150/100

When buying on or off of an NFL 3, there is an extra 10% juice.

You can generally buy up to 2 points on Football or Basketball games.
